Christmas at Dad's

After mom's we always go to Dad's house to spend time with him and our brother Rambo the dog. We always make sure we take a drink cause dad doesn't really have any drinks we like. He always opens the gifts we buy for him then says "is this all I get" and every year we laugh. After all what do you buy someone who shops for himself before Christmas and leaves us wondering what we will get him. Then he starts handing out envelopes with money in them to all of us, as usual he teases Thomas about either not having an envelope with his name on it or that he doesn't remember who Thomas is...Thomas always smiles and lets him have some fun with his youngest grandchild. This year Haylea got her first envelope...with hopes that many more will come.

Christmas Day at Mom's

We had a wonderful Christmas at mom's house. A few of our family members were not there(Tony and his family and Robert and his family), and we missed them. As usual we have plenty of food and of course laughter. It's always fun when we get together because we are a crazy loud bunch. It was also Haylea's first Christmas and it seemed like she really enjoyed it. Thomas got a zippo lighter and an Aerosmith shirt, he said it was great and he had a very good time. In the picture you have Thomas, Tyler, Stephanie and the short one is Meme.

Christmas with Tony's Family

It's Christmas with Tony, Jen, Lexus and Trent. They just came back from visiting Jen's family in Alabama. Both Lexus and Trent had just woke up. Trent was ready to open presents!!! So he started opening gifts then Lexus, Tony and Jen. We had pizza and chocolate covered popcorn,but the fun was when we started playing the Wii!!! Trent was ready to go, and Lexus was awesome in bowling. Tony and Trent go into a baseball game and boxing match...Trent has made us laugh so much he is so funny. Oh yeah he said that he had the best hair at his school!!! Gotta love him!!! We all had a great time, it's always great when you get spend time with your kids!!

"I have faith"

I talked to my mom today, and even though she seems worried she does say that "I have faith" and that is what will get her through all this. She said other people have it worse than her. My mom says that she has lived a wonderful life. I know that this is an extensive surgery, but we all have to be positive and know that everything will be ok. Prayer, Prayer, Prayer

Bad News Day

Well we got some bad news today. My mom just found out that her brain tumor has come back!!! She has had a rough year from falling down(I say GOD pushed her) finding out that she had a tiny tumor on her brain from her breast cancer that she had in 1976!!!Yeah can you believe that!! Then she went to Myrtle Beach was there less than 24 hrs slipped in the pool and broke her knee cap. Finally she recovers from that and then this crazy tumor shows up again!!!! What can I say about my mom, well she's a girly girl she has more clothes and shoes than you could imagine. She has 4 girls and none of us are like that. My mom has been through a lot in her lifetime, born in France, lived through a war, has some shrapnel in her arm, moved to America with 2 small children(my sister and I, we were 2 and 3) so we could be with our dad(he was in the Air Force)had 2 more children, got breast cancer at age 46 then at 78 finds out it's back in her brain. She is one tough lady and even though she has had her downs there have been more ups. She has lived a wonderful life, with grandchildren and now great-grandchildren. Do I think that she can beat this? OH YES SHE CAN WITH ALL MY HEART!!!! I also believe that GOD will have a major part in this bump in her life so prayer will be a big part of this journey. Happy Birthday Thomas

Today is my baby's b-day!!! Thomas is 14 today, boy you just blink your eyes and they are grown up. He is playing with his 2 games that he got for his wii and he has no PATIENCE. I asked him what kind of cake he wanted for his b-day and he said pineapple upside downwithout the pineapple YUCK!!! It's his day though and we love him vey much!!!!!

SNOW DAY!!!!

Well it's a snow day...with no snow but who cares we still get to stay home and enjoy a free day. My sister, Pamela, is signing all the papers on her new house today!!!I am so excited for her, it's about time she gets her own home. My cousin Terry was going to come over on his way to the mountains, but he is traveling on the wrong interstate. TO FUNNY!!!! My friend Stacy should be in Saudi Arabia by now, I hope she has the time of her life!!! I can't wait to hear it all.

MY BOYS!!!

These are my boys. Tony 28, Robert 20, and Thomas who will be 14 on Dec. 13th. Where has time gone? As you can tell my boys love the outdoors and we had a great time taking pictures in the woods for their dad's b-day. I wish he was there when we did it so he could have enjoyed all the laughter and crazy things that they did.
